Pesco BoD hails appointment of CEO

Peshawar—Board of Director (BoD) of Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) hailed the appointment of Anwar Ul Haq Yousafzai as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and assured for full support.
According to press release, the 105th meeting of BoD, Malik Muhammad Asad Khan was in the chair held at Wapda House Peshawar.
As Prime Minister’s announcement to provide relief of about Rs 3 per Unit for Industrial consumers. This relief will be immediately implemented and bills may be revised if already issued, he said. Malik Muhammad Asad Khan said that we have to improve Pesco’s performance and to make it a “Consumer Friendly Company” and profitable entity. Chief Executive Pesco Anwar Ul Haq Yousafzai gave a comprehensive Presentation to the board about Pesco performance.
He said that we have to provide maximum facilities to public and Pesco’s motto is “Consumer Friendly Pesco” and every employee of Pesco has to adopt consumer friendly attitude. CEO directed all the field officers to listen the problems of public daily and resolve on the spot. He further emphasized that Pesco’ employees have to work honestly and with dedication.
He said the employees with the bad performance will be dealt strictly while employees with good performance will be rewarded.
