PCB, Youth Players Development Program 2017-18 to start from October 9

LAHORE: The PCB – Youth Players Development Programs 2017-18 presents “U-13 Catch em ‘Young & U-16 PCB-Pepsi Cricket Stars” commencing with open trials at 60 districts from October 9 across the country.

This program is designed to complete the PCB pathway for identification of young players at grass root level progressing to the top level. PCB Regional Head/ Assistant Coaches & Districts local selectors will conduct the Open trials.

The Cut – off date fixed for the PCB – Youth Players Development Programs 2017-18 as per following.

All District Cricket Associations must ensure that players appearing for trials bring their authenticated NADRA form ‘B’/age certificate issued by school. If any player submitting false age certificates or found over age would be dealt according to PCB rules & regulation.

In addition, the Regional Selection of U-13 / U-16 teams and age verification process will start immediately after the completion of districts open trials and the age determined by PCB approved Bone Xpert Software will be considered the final age for the forthcoming U-13’s / U-16’s Tournaments.
