PBM provides stipend to 20,000 children

Rawalpindi—Pakistan Bait-ul-Mall (PBM) was providing stipend to more than 20,000 poor and needy children under child support programme to complete their education said Managing Director (MD) PBM Barrister Abid Waheed Sheikh on Wednesday.
Addressing the lawyers here at Lahore High Court, Rawalpindi Bench after inaugurating a water filtration plant, Library and Dispensary he said that he had introduced transparency, efficiency and accessibility in the PBM to enable the poor to have an easy access to resources of the social safety net. The PBM, Abid Sheikh said, had also established 10 more Pakistan Sweet Homes for the orphan children where they were provided all facilities of a home, including lodging, clothes, food, entertainment and education facilities. —APP
