Passing out parade of FC recruits held

Peshawar—The passing out parade of the recruits of 22nd batch of the Frontier Corps (FC) was held at FC Headquarters Kalaya in Aurakzai agency. A spokesman for Frontier Corps told that Colonel Faisal Ahmed Khan Commandant Aurakzai Scouts was chief guest on the occasion.
Addressing the passing out parade Col. Faisal said that “we are facing menace of terrorism and militancy and with the blessing of Allah Almighty and cooperation of the people, we are overcoming these problems with the passage of each day.”
The FC jawans have to be alerted all the time keeping to fighting out the present day challenges of terrorism and extremism with their professional skill, he told the passing out recruits. He said that new wings are being raised in the FC to meet the internal and external challenges and increasing capacity building of the para military force.
The Commandant stressed upon the jawans to maintain the spirit of selfless service, bravery, dutifulness and patriotism which is the hallmark of the FC. Earlier the Commandant reviewed the passing out parade and gave away trophies to the recruits showing distinction in the training course.—APP
