Pakistan to continue moral, support to Kashmiris: Rashid

Islamabad—Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid has said that Pakistan will continue moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris in their just struggle for their right to self determination. He said Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif nominated a person for the post of Azad Kashmir president who has worked for Kashmir cause during his whole career as diplomat.
He said Masood Khan will present the case of Kashmiris in front of world in a better way. He said the nomination of Masood Ahmed Khan as president of AJK is shows commitment of PM Nawaz Sharif with Kashmir cause. Addressing a seminar on the Current Situation in Occupied Kashmir in Islamabad, he said that Kashmir cause and Kashmiris have unbreakable relation with Pakistan.
He said that Kashmiris are continuing their constitutional, lawful and democratic struggle in the Held Kashmir for liberation from the Indian bondage. He said Pakistan will continue support to the Kashmiris for the resolution of Kashmir issue according to the aspirations of the Kashmiris.
He said India is trying to suppress the voice of Kashmiris by the use of brute force but will not succeed in its designs. He said Pakistan has raised voice against the Indian brutalities in Held Kashmir at all the international fora. He said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in his address to the United Nations General Assembly has highlighted the Kashmir issue in detail. He said that people of Azad Kashmir have expressed their confidence in Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. He said that Nawaz Shaif knows well how to plead Kashmir issue on the world forums.
He said first time in the history of democracy the turn out in election in Azad Kashmir remained 68% which shows that the people of the state are independent in electing their representatives. He said the same percentage in Srinagar protested against India expressing no confidence in the Indian government.
The Information Minster said that the people of Gilgit-Baltistan and Balochistan have themselves answered the questions raised by Indian Prime Minister. Pervaiz Rashid said that Pakistan has completed all the prerequisites for pleading Kashmir issue before the world. He said that major issues of the country have been resolved and economy strengthened.—SABAH
