Pakistan-Malaysia parliamentary friendship group meets

Islamabad—The first meeting of Pak-Malaysia friendship group was held here on Thursday to review further cementing bilateral relations.
Convener Senator Saleem Mandvi Wala appreciated the efforts of Chairman Senate, Mian Raza Rabbani for initiating parliamentary friendship groups with various countries.
The members of the committee agreed upon establishing perpetual and healthy relationship between Pakistan and Malaysia.
They emphasized on easing the visa processes for the promotion of good relations.
The High commissioner of Malaysia in Pakistan highly appreciated and admired the efforts of Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani for creating Pak-Malaysian friendship group.
He said that Malaysia being an Islamic state had a lot of respect for Pakistan as a first Islamic nuclear state, said a press release. Pak-Malaysia had always enjoyed amiable relationship with each other, he added.—APP
