‘Pakistan has world’s best army’

Islamabad—PML-N Senator Lt-Gen (Retd) Abdul Qayyum Khan Tuesday said that Pakistan had the world’s best Army which was capable to cope with any challenge. Talking to Radio Pakistan he said that all the border of the country had been made secure by security forces and further special security arrangements had been made for the month of independence.
Senator said that the civil and military leadership had vowed to eliminate terrorism at all costs and operation against the menance would continue till its logical end. The international community had also appreciated the achievements and role of Pakistan in war against terrorism, Abdul Qayyum added.
He said that PML-N had to face a number of challenges when it came into power including terrorism, worst law and order in Balochistan e and border instability. It is the achievement of incumbent government that with the support of the nation and security forces it managed to overcome major challenges, he concluded.—APP
