Pakistan recorded a seven-wicket victory over West Indies in the fourth and final Twenty20 International here at the Queen’s Park Oval on Sunday.
Thus they clinched the four-match T20I series 3-1 in the Caribbean after a clean sweep in the three-match series in the United Arab Emirates last September.
This is Sarfraz Ahmed’s seventh win in his eight T20Is as captain. Chasing an easy target of 125, Pakistan completed the imposing victory in 19 overs with a brilliant half-century by opener Ahmed Shehzad. He made 53 off 45 balls with six fours and a six while Babar Azam scored 38 with one six and one four. Kamran Akmal contributed 20.—Agencies
