Pak win 1st match of Blind Cricket series

Faisalabad—Pakistan has won the first match of Twenty-20 (T-20) Blind Cricket Series after defeating Sri Lanka with 9 wickets at Iqbal Stadium here on Sunday.
Winning the toss, Sri Lanka decided to bat first and scored 158 runs in 20 overs with a loss of 5 wickets.
Top scorers of Sri Lankan Blind Cricket Team was Opel Sanjeewa who scored 65 runs on 44 balls and Desperia scored 38 runs whereas Pakistani bowler Sajid Nawaz of Pakistan got 2 wickets against 27 runs in 4 overs. In response, Pakistani Blind Cricket team achieved the target in 9.3 overs with a loss of one wicket. Pakistani opener Badar Munir and Mohsan Khan made a partnership of 148 runs during the first day play.
Badar Munir completed his century with the help of 21 fours on 39 balls and declared Man of the Match whereas Mohsan Khan scored 36 runs. The second match of T-20 series will be held in the same venue on Monday (April 4) whereas the third match will be played on April 5, 2016.—APP
