Pak to get 6 MedEvac planes from US

Islamabad—Pakistan could not get F-16 jet fighters from United States (US) due to wobbling relations between both the countries but the US had agreed to provide six medical evacuation aircraft (MEDEVAC) to Pakistan which would be used to rescue injured personnel as well as other small operations.
These six planes cost $1billion 40 hundred thousand while sources revealed that an American company CESSNA would manufacture these planes along with the spare parts of these machines.
Pakistan had ordered two Cessna 208 Caravan planes while four of them would be Cessna 206 Stationair planes.
These planes would be used in airborne and sea related operations while they would also be used to patrol and monitor movement along Pakistani territories equipped with state-of-the-art radars.—NNI
