PA slams Rohingya Muslims’ genocide

Punjab Assembly (PA) through two adopted resolutions on Monday condemned massacre of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar and new policy of the United States of America towards Pakistan.
Moved by the Leader of Opposition Mian Mehmoodur Rashid, the House vehemently condemned the violence against Rohingya Muslims and urged the world human rights organisations to use their influence to stop killings of Muslims in Myanmar.
In another resolution moved by Provincial Human Rights and Minorities Affairs Minister Tahir Khalil Sindhu, the House slammed the recent statement and policy of the US President Donald Trump regarding Pakistan.
Earlier, the first sitting of 31st session of the current assembly was started with Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal in the chair with two hours and 40 minutes behind its schedule time.
