Owner of demolished ice factory suffers heart attack

Karachi—The owner of the ice factory in New Karachi, which was demolished in an explosion on Monday, suffered from a heart attack Tuesday.
Police disclosed that the factory owner named Iqbal, was shifted to a hospital for treatment, owing to his heart attack. The case was registered against him with the government as the complainant.
According to the police, the relatives of the deceased workers did not take any interest in registering the case against the factory owner.
Due to the illness of Iqbal, who was nominated in the FIR, he could not be arrested, claimed the police.
On Monday, an ice factory in New Karachi was demolished due to a boiler explosion. Six people had been killed in the incident and a few others had been injured.
Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah had ordered an inquiry into the incident and sought details regarding the inspection of the factory.
