Over 7,000 poor families to get ration from UAE’s charity

Karachi—Acting Consul General of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bakheet Ateeq Al Romaithi, has said that over seven hundred poor families living in Sindh and Balochistan will be distributed ration.
Talking to APP, he said that Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation has arranged the food items for the deserving people of the backward areas of Sindh and Balochistan while distributing ration.
Under the arrangement, in the first phase over 4,000 families will be provided free of charge ration for one month during the holy month of Ramazan. During the second phase 3,000 more families will be provided ration.
The ration includes the packets of flour, sugar, rice, cold drinks, dry fruit and dates.
Bakheet Ateeq Al Romaithi said that Pakistan and the UAE have deep rooted brotherly relations and refusal to hunting would not affect these cordial ties.
The director general of the Foundation, Mohammad Abdul Khaleq Alkhoori, Muhammad Sher Khan, Muhammad Salman Qadri, among others, were present.—APP
