Our Kashmir cause is to make J&K part of Pakistan

Srinagar

In occupied Kashmir, the Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Aasiya Andrabi, has said that like Muslims of Indian subcontinent adopted a resolution to form Pakistan 77 years ago, her organization too will pass a similar resolution on March 23 (Thursday) to declare that the struggle will continue until Jammu and Kashmir becomes part of Pakistan.
Aasiya Andrabi in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “March 23 holds tremendous relevance for the Muslims of the subcontinent. On this day in 1940, a unanimous resolution was adopted to form Pakistan and only after a gap of seven years, the resolution became a reality.”
She said that the Muslims of the subcontinent under the dynamic leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah (RA) committed themselves to make the resolution a reality and finally succeeded. “After seven years, by the will of Almighty Allah, this Muslim country came into being that too on the auspicious night of Shab-e-Qadr. Behind the formation of this country, there have been lakhs of sacrifices given by the Muslims as they were massacred by the Hindu fanatics. Despite all odds, the committed Muslims of India made establishment of Pakistan a reality,” she said.
The DeM Chairperson said that Jammu and Kashmir also had to become part of Pakistan but India illegally occupied it against the will of Kashmiri people. She urged the people of Pakistan and Jammu and Kashmir to celebrate March 23 as “The Day of Commitment” and pass another resolution to pledge that Kashmiris are committed to the resolution that was passed 77 years ago.
Aasiya Andrabi said that the DeM would hold programmes across Jammu and Kashmir in which it would be pledged that Kashmiris will strive to implement the resolution in letter and spirit.—KMS
