Islamabad—Chairman Pakistan Ulma Council Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, Friday, stressed on convening emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to discuss challenges confronted by the Muslim Ummah. Addressing a press conference after Tuhafaz-e-Arz-e-Harmain Shareefain wal Al-Aqsa Conference here, he said that Muslim Ummah had been divided on sectarian basis and almost all the Muslim countries were victims of sectarian feuds.
He further observed that terror outfits including IS and others had nothing to do with Islam otherwise they could not have targeted Muslim countries alone. He also warned international forces to stop hatching anti Muslim conspiracies.
“Actually, international players are carrying out violent operations in Muslim countries to divert their anti Muslim plans. At the same time, plans are also being devised to occupy land Harmain Shareefain” he said. In this regard, he warned that every Muslim was ready to avert heinous designs of anti Muslim elements.
He said that Iran had committed injustice on Iranian Hujaj by denying permission to them to visit Saudi Arabia on account of Saudi Arabian warning against political gathering and protest demonstration on the occasion of Hajj.
He also warned the US, Russia and other countries for tightening circle against Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan, saying that only two states were created on the basis of religious ideology; Pakistan and Israel. But, Pakistan has been created to live forever.
Responding to a question, he asked the Muslim countries to establish diplomatic ties with Israel on condition of easing Palestinian cause. “Besieged Palestinians are victims of Israeli aggression and atrocities so the entire world must make efforts to end the Israeli injustices and violations of fundamental rights of Palestinians” he maintained.
