NUML awards degrees to 264 graduate students

8th Convocation

National University of Modern Language (NUML) in its 8th Convocation held here Monday conferred degrees to around 264 graduate students of different programmes.
The degrees were conferred to graduates which included 9 PhD scholars, 2 Mphil scholars and 16 gold meddlers.
Rector NUML Major General Zia Uddin Najam was the Chief Guest of the ceremony while
Registrar NUML Brig (r) Aminullah Khan hosted the ceremony.
Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments and a large number of students along with their parents also attended the Convocation ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion Rector NUML Major General Zia Uddin Najam congratulated the students, their parents and teachers on the successful completion of education and said that educated youth is our assets and they should come forward to make the country more prosperous and developed.
He said that all the graduates are stepping into practical life and it is a transition period for all of you that you are heading towards practicality.
He stressed that there is no benefit of knowledge if it does not help you to be a good human.
You all are proud for your university; so you must built such a character in you that everybody like to quote your excellent behavior and praise your teachers and parents. Rector National University of Modern Language (NUML) congratulate all the scholars, their parents and teachers.—APP
