Notices issued to govt, Imran

Staff Reporter

Lahore—The Lahore High Court has issued notices to PTI Chief Imran Khan and the Federal government for 15th September in response to a petition filed against the sit-in announced by PTI outside Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s residence in Raiwind.
Justice Shahid Karim heard the petition filed by a local Atif Sattar. Petitioner’s counsel A K Dogar argued before the court that Imran Khan has been delivering hateful speeches against the ruling party which could provoke violence.
He pleaded that sit-in outside PM Nawaz family house may lead to a clash between the two parties, hence, the court must intervene and stop the PTI from doing so.
