No one accepts Shahid Khaqan Abbasi as PM: Imran Khan


KARACHI, : Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan said that no one accepts Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi as the country’s premier.

Speaking to media persons Wednesday, Imran Khan stated that PM Abbasi has no mandate. He reiterated his demand of early elections and urged the government to conduct the polls soon.

Khan said that unemployment is the country’s main issue. He further said that development of the industries will create employment opportunities in the country. He added that expensive power plants were constructed for corruption.

The Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief stated that cheap hydropower can be generated in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). He added, “We have constructed 300 hydropower plants in the province”.

The party chairman stated that Rs. 10 million are laundered outside Pakistan every year. “No discusses the issue of money-laundering in the Parliament,” he added. He added that money the value of Pakistani rupee is falling.

Khan stated that “Conflict of Interest Law” along with a strong local government system will be introduced into the country if his party is elected into power. He went on to say that conducting elections before time is not undemocratic.

Before departing for Karachi, Imran Khan met Jamaat-i-Islami Emir Sirajul Haq at Islamabad’s Benazir Bhutto International Airport (BBIA). Both the leaders discussed the current political situation of the country and merger of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
