Karachi—Patron-in-chief of Pakistan Hindu Council and a member of the National Assembly Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani Friday on behalf of Federal Government announced that there would be no loadshedding in Hindu-majority districts of Sindh, including Tharparkar, Thatta, and Badin, on the occasion of Diwali festival.
Talking to a local Hindu delegation, Dr. Ramesh Vankwani also assured to provide relief in other parts to some extent, said press release here.
Vankwani said Diwali reminds the victory of good over evil. “ Our government is committed to overcome the ongoing energy crisis before end of 2018,” he assured.
Dr. Ramesh Vankwani also appealed to the Hindu community for special prayers on the occasion of Diwali for peace, progress and well-being of Pakistan.
Pakistani Hindus will celebrate the festival on October 30 (Sunday).
