Nisar, Shahbaz discuss security with COAS

Islamabad—Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif held a meeting with Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Saturday.
According to sources, they exchanged views on aftermath of US drone strike in Balochistan that killed Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Akhtar Mansour.
They also discussed implementation of national action plan and other security issues, the sources said.
During the meeting, the army chief enquired about the health of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and prayed for his early recovery.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif tweeted on Saturday evening that he will depart for London today to attend to his elder brother, and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who shall be undergoing an open-heart surgery next week.
Shehbaz has requested the nation to pray for the quick recovery of Premier Nawaz Sharif.
