National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) Inspector General Aamir Zulfiqar Khan said that it is a top priority of the NH&MP to ensure good and decent behavior with commuters besides the enforcement of law.
“We have to maintain the highest achievement with all available resources”, he said and added that delivery of prompt assistance to road users is the trademark of the department.
He expressed these views while addressing the patrolling officers of NH&MP in an open house meeting here on Sunday.He said the NH&MP would work day and night to continue its professional performance and further enhance its standards.
The NH&MP IG asked the officers to produce the best possible results with available recourse through professional approach, adding that through scientific and modern approach, the best results could be obtained.
He assured the officials that he would put special focus on educational scholarships for the children of officers, increase in medical facilities, doubling marriage allowance for female officers and other welfare related works.
The IG also listened to problems of the officers and passed necessary directions at the spot.
Later, DIG Central Zone Ahmad Arslan Malik and SSP Central-I Masroor Alam Kolachi presented shields of memorandum to the NH&MP IG.
