New wet spell likely

Islamabad—A new wet spell is likely to hit various parts of the country in the first week of October decreasing the mercury level.
Rain with dust storm is expected in upper parts including upper parts of Malakand, Peshawar, Gilgit-Baltistan, Hazara and Kashmir during Saturday and Sunday. Senior Meteorologist Farooq Dar told APP that there were chances of isolated to scattered rain activity in Sindh and Balochistan on 3rd and 4th October while wet spell was also forecasted in Upper Punjab, Upper Khaber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan on 5th and 6th October. Mercury was also likely to drop after this spell, he informed. In next 24 hours hot and dry weather to prevail in major parts of the country.—APP
