NAB raids Fawad’s house, confiscates documents

National Accou National Accountability Bureau on Saturday raided the residence of ex-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s principal secretary, Fawad Hassan Fawad and confiscated significant documents.
As per details, Fawad also accompanied the team during the raid. Majority of the documents seized from the house were related to national security which include meeting minutes, secret reports of meetings headed by Nawaz Sharif and many other significant record, sources said, adding: “Besides this, two laptops, five mobile phones and more than 30 USBs have also been taken into possession. The phones recovered from his car also include a Blackberry whose password has been obtained from Fawad. NAB has begun the forensic audit of all the confiscated material following which important information will surface.”
On Friday, accountability court handed Fawad to NAB on 14-day physical remand in Rs14 billion Ashiana Housing Scheme scam.
