NAB arrests two brothers for Rs150m corruption

Peshawar—NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa arrested accused Zaki Ullah, ex-Secretary Housing Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa along with co-accused his brother Zafarullah Khan, Ex-Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Traffic Police allegedly involved in accumulation of illegal assets worth Rs.150.00 million.
As per details, the matter was brought into the notice of NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Authorities. Taking cognizance of the matter inquiry was authorized to ascertain the real facts and collect requisite evidence regarding moveable and immoveable properties owned, controlled and possessed by the accused persons in their name and in the name of their dependents.
During the course of inquiry, it revealed that the accused Zakiullah Ex-Secretary Housing remained posted on key port-folios i.e. Member CM Inspection Team, Secretary Housing. His Brother Zafarullah, Ex AIG Traffic also joined Govt Service and held various portfolios. During their tenure in Govt both accused persons piled assets worth millions of rupees in their name and in the name of their dependent.
