Mustafa serves Rs5b defamation notice on PTI chief

Islamabad—Ali Mustafa Dar son of Ishaq Dar Finance Minister on Friday filed defamation suit against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan for making remarks about him and his family which he called “utterly false and defamatory”, and has demanded an unconditional apology and compensation of Rs5 billion.
Ali Dar serves notice through his counsel Barrister Munawar Iqbal Duggal over defamatory remarks delivered by PTI Chief in his press conference on April 10. It states that PTI chief held press conference with the mala fide and ulterior motive of attacking Ali Dar’s character and his integrity and his family name with the purpose to damage and harm his reputation, competence, integrity and honesty.—NNI
