Muslims ready to offer sacrifices for sanctity of Madina: Naqeeb

Rawalpindi—Prominent religious scholar Pir Muhammad Naqeebur Rehman said on Thursday that Muslims were ready to sacrifice their life and worldly goods for the sanctity of the holy places in Saudi Arabia. Addressing a conference here about a recent terrorist incident at Madina Munawara, he said the ghastly act of terrorism in Madina committed by anti-Islam elements had broken hearts of entire Muslim ummah.
Harmain Sharifain are the focus of veneration for the Islamic world, he added.
He said Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) is our guide and leader of all universes and every Muslim considered it his honour to utilize every thing for protection of sanctity of Madina Munawara and name of the residents of Mosque of the Prophet.
He said the Islamic Ummah expresses full solidarity with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Pakistan Abdullah Marzouk Al-Zahrani and the people of Saudi Arabia. Pir Syed Riaz Hussain Shah said obeying the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was part of their belief, adding those who carried out terrorism in Madina had nothing to do with Islam.
The whole Muslim Ummah was grieved at the incident and the Saudi government should take effective steps for stopping such acts.
Dr Sahibzada Pir Sajidur Rehman said the tragedy in Madina was a challenge for the Islamic world and all the Islamic schools of thought. All the schools of thought should adopt a common strategy and stage protests, he added.
Sahibzada Pir Muhammad Hasaan Haseebur Rehman of Eidgah Shareef said sanctity of Madina was matter of faith for the Muslims.
