Musical concert mesmerises audience

Rawalpindi—The performers in a musical concert held at Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC), mesmerised the audience with their beautiful performance here on Wednesday evening.
The concert titled ‘Watan kayGeet’ organized in connection with Pakistan Day celebrations paid rich tribute to leaders of Pakistan Movement.
Member National Assembly Tahira Aurangzeb accompanied by Naheed Manzoor and Resident Director RAC Waqar Ahmed was chief guest.
The ceremony was started with folk dance of Punjab by Multan Lok Raqs Party which enthralled the huge gathering, while famous singers Bashir Lohar, Ghazala Shaheen,Imran Rushdi, Sunya Rafiq, Rizwan Khan, Naveed Alvi, Obaid Ullah, Masood Ahmed, Sarfraz Latif, Wazir Ali, Wahab Ahmed and Aqdas Hashmi sang mili and folk songs. On the occasion, Tahira Aurangzeb said that Pakistan is moving towards right direction now and prosperity will be the future of this country.
Naheed Manzoor said, everybody will have to play role for the development of Pakistan. Resident Director Waqar Ahmed said Pakistan Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and traditional manner on the direction of Secretary Information & Culture Department Momin Ali Agha.—APP
