Murad expresses reservations over ban on Ulema’s entry

Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has expressed his reservations over the ban on entry of Ulema in Sindh. We are not against these ulemas of all sects who are helping government for restoration of peace.
The Chief Minister said that, Government of Sindh has made fool proof arrangements and issued instructions to the concerned departments to facilitate the processions, Majalis and azadarans during Muharram-ul-haram.
This was announced here at a meeting held a New Sindh secretariat on Tuesday attended by three ministers Saeed Ghani, Syed Nasir Shah and Sarfaraz Dero to review the law and order issue and arrangements for Muharram.
Meeting lauded the ulemas who all the time extend cooperation to government and we in touch with these Ulemas to ensure peace during Muharram.
The meeting held observed that all local bodies issues during Muharram be resolved immediately and fool proof arrangements be made for security peace and harmony be ensured.
The meeting noted and demanded from K electric that during Muharram at places where majalis and procession pass these areas be exempted from load shedding. Ulemas of all sects demanded that cleanliness be maintained and garbage be lifted from these areas during Muharram and also said street lights be also affixed.
The Ulemas said similar arrangements for security and to maintain law and order during Rabi Ul Awwal be maintained.
Religious affairs Minister Sarfraz Dero after Ashura such meeting will be held after every three months which will be attended by all Ulemas.
The Ministers Saeed Ghani and Nasir Shah speaking at the meeting said Ulemas do not create problem but very few terrorists create law and order problem and issues are erupted, government will ensure peace at all cost they added.
Referring to the security withdrawn of ulemas they said this has been done on the orders of Supreme court and Sindh Chief Minister has formed committees after recommendations of the committee security would be provided to Ulemas.
Meeting was attended secretary home, secretary local government and other senior government officials.
