Advisor to Prime Minister Amir Muqam on Monday expressed concern over undue delay in development projects by Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) and directed to expedite pace of work.
Presiding over a meeting here at WAPDA house to review progress on on-going development projects, he directed PESCO chief to ensure completion of all projects within stipulated time so that uninterrupted power supply could be provided to masses. He warned strict action on undue delay in development projects or dereliction from duty.
Earlier Engr Amir Muqam gave targets to PESCO for lying of 132KV double circuit transmission line in various districts and Tehsils of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He also directed PESCO to stop over billing and resolve issue of non-payment of bills through dialogue and with involvement of local elders and representatives. Meanwhile, PESCO chief briefed the Advisor to Prime Minister regarding performance and targets of the company.
The PESCO authorities here Monday notified that power supply will remain suspended from few Industrial feeders of 132 KV Hattar grid station due to installation of new power transformer. The PESCO spokesman in a press statement said that due to installation of new power transformer in 132 KV Hattar grid station, power supply will remain suspended from 8am on March 28 to 08 AM to 1st April with duration 96 hours.
Resultantly, the consumers of 11 KV Synotrack, Wah Nobal, Rehmat Steel, Alhadeed steel, Pak Acomolater, Core Net Foods feeders will face inconvenience.—APP
