Muharram processions

Through your esteemed daily I would like to draw the kind attention of all stakeholders, society, federal and provincial governments towards the practice of taking out processions during Muharram-ul-Haram. It is a known fact that those belonging to Fiqa-i-Jafaria mourn the martyrdom of the beloved grandson of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) Hazrat Iman Hussain (RA) who sacrificed his life and those of his followers for the revival of golden Principles of Islam.
It is a common practice across the country that during the whole month of Muharram processions are taken out frequently on roads and in bazaars which is not only inconvenient to other people but may also lead to severe security risks as Pakistan is facing terrorism threat and especially the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province is on front line against insurgency in the country. These processions may be limited to their Imam Bargahs and other worship places, which will reduce inconvenience to other people.
I suggest that the government should take immediate steps to allocate some special indoor places for the religious practice of mourning and they may be restricted and limited to their Imam Bargahs in the best interest of security and ease of fellow Pakistanis.
