MQM-P insists on more units

Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui repeated the party’s demanded for the establishment of more provinces in the country, arguing that if major mainstream parties could agree on a ‘south Punjab’ province then how could they oppose a ‘south Sindh’ province.
Speaking a public meeting of his party in the Mohajir Colony ground late on Saturday evening, he said that MQM-P was demanding creation of more administrative units for better governance.
Dr Siddiqui also repeated the allegation of an undeclared ban having been imposed on his party to keep it away from the election process.—Agencies
