MQM has a mission of resolving issues

Karachi—Despite its urgency as per provisioning of the constitution, the census has been deferred once again while local bodies elections have recently been conducted after seven years on orders of the Supreme Court of Pakistan However, despite the fact that local bodies elections have been held months ago, the elections of Mayor and Deputy Mayor are still not conducted.
The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has a mission of resolving issues of the people of transport, sanitation and cleanliness and potable water and as soon as the Mayor and Deputy Mayor would get the required powers, the MQM would struggle for the resolution of peoples’ issues.
MQM Coordination Committee’s (CC) Senior Deputy Convener and member national assembly Dr Farooq Sattar expressed these views while addressing as Chief Guest at the opening ceremony of ‘14th Message for Peace Cricket Tournament’ organised by APMSO at University of Karachi. Three hundred teams of UoK are participating in the tournament. UoK Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Qaiser, MQM parliamentarians, UoK lecturers and professors and students were present.
