MoU for empowering under-privileged youth

In an initiative to empower the underprivileged youth of Pakistan, Akhuwat Foundation, COTHM Pakistan & Dubai and EWEN have joined hands to collaborate for a national cause. The MoU signing ceremony was organized at COTHM to synergize efforts of all three organizations to create opportunities of self-employment by providing interest-free loans to the under-privileged youth to start hospitality project offering street food with complete hygiene and food safety standards.
COTHM in collaboration with EWEN, raised rupees One Million funds for underprivileged during the Australia day in spring events. COTHM provided these funds for Hospitality Project to Akhuwat Foundation for onwards disbursement and management of funds for the project. The EWEN has established an Australia fund through Akhuwat Foundation which will support providing sustainable livelihood opportunities for the low socio economic households.
The MoU was signed jointly by the Executive Director of AkhuwatFoundation, Dr. Muhammad Amjad Saqib, CEO COTHM Pakistan & Dubai, Mr. Ahmad Shafiq, the Founder of EWEN Australia Ms. Aeysha Bux and the project Coordinator, Dr. Ain-ul-Momina.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ahmad Shafiq said he had a vision to empower the under-privileged youth of Pakistan.
