Mother’s Day

Hadia Aziz

Almost every single group in society and every family relationship has a special day such as Children’s Day, Women’s Day, Father’s Day, Labour Day and Mother’s day etc. We celebrate these days to convey a message about the respect we have for these groups, other relationships, and their rights also the love we have for them. Additionally, World Mother’s Day is celebrated with full swing all around the globe but unfortunately in Pakistan very few people are noticed to celebrate this day, perhaps some socio-economic restrictions are to blame.
It is a common saying in our society that all days are mother’s day, but we cannot celebrate all days as mother’s day. That is why this day is celebrated on 2nd Sunday of May each year so everyone is able to celebrate this day with their mothers. Moreover, I would like to request our society to celebrate this day with full enthusiasm and spirit to honour to all mothers around the world. However, we can never thank them for their immense love and sacrifices but we can make them feel special on this day. At the end I would like to say a very “Happy Mother’s Day” to all the mothers and last but not the least Mom I love you.
