MNAs demand joint session on FATA issues

Islamabad—Parliamentary leader of FATA in the National Assembly, Haji Shah G Gul Afridi on Friday demanded that joint session of the parliament should be summoned to discuss issues of FATA.
Speaking on a point of order, he said Pakistan Muslim League was the founding party of Pakistan and now more responsibility lied on the party to bring FATA into mainstream by revoking article 247 of the constitution.
He said that presently their was no judicial, justice and accountability system in FATA and political agents of the area was not accountable to anybody. He demanded that early implementation of recommendations of FATA Reforms Committee.—APP
