MMI Hospital celebrates National Independence Day

Memon Medical Institute Hospital on Sunday celebrated Independence Day and organized a mega event in which the large number of general public, students and the patients participated. The objective of the event was to celebrate Independence Day with the Hepatitis C Patients who were completely treated and cured free of charged at MMI Hospital.
Abdul Hakeem Baloch was the chief guest of the event who addressed and said that it is our responsibility to provide quality services to the common citizen. He also quoted that it is a proud moment free of charge treatment is provided to more than 300 patients from surrounding area of Malir and thanked to MMI Hospital for their remarkable support. The treatment included the screening, medicines, lab tests and consultation. Mr. Hakeem Baloch also congratulated the nation on the Independence Day.
Dr. Rizwan Azami, CEO MMI hospital welcomed all the guests and appreciated the school and college students for their Tableau, culture shows and other national day activities.
He addressed the participations of the events and said that we celebrates the Independence Day every year actively, not only by decorating and enlightening the hospital building but also by organizing a graceful ceremony of flag hoisting and the event.
Dr Shoaib Siddique, Gastroenterologist at MMI Hospital, also explained Hepatitis disease and precaution management. Mr. Mohammad Yaseen, GM Marketing thanked the Chief Guest, all the students for their performances and the media for their participation in the historic mega event. He said that we are decorating the building with complete lighting to show strong association with our country. We have also announced a competition among the departments in which they decorated their departments and the winner will get the cash prize from the organization.
During the event, the students of Institute of nursing of MMI hospital performed a culture show with the display of the all the cultures and their dresses.—INP
