Minister directs officials to prepare PC-I for renovation of Working Women Hostel

Minister of State for Human rights, Barrister Usman Ibrahim Thursday emphasized the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)/ Rules to promote and protect the rights of working women living in hostels.
He recommended preparation of PC-1 for renovation of the main building of the hostel while presiding over a meeting on the performance of the Working Women Hostel G-6/3, Islamabad. The minister also directed to take action against the defaulter tenants according to SOPs/Rules.
Barrister Usman Ibrahim, Minister of State, also emphasized to administer it in a good and more refined way. Ms. Humaira Azam Khan, Joint Secretary Ministry of Human Rights, and Saira Furqan, Manager Working Women Hostel, briefed Minister of State about the issues faced by the Hostel and measures to tackle those issues.
The meeting was held for the betterment and reform of the Working Women Hostel. The participants appreciated Barrister Usman Ibrahim for his keen efforts regarding future plans of the Working Women Hostel.—APP
