Miftah approaches IHC for interim bail in LNG quota case

Former finance minister Miftah Ismael Monday filed a petition to Islamabad High Court (IHC) to seek interim bail in a corruption case pertaining to LNG quota.
The petitioner had prayed the court to stop National Accountability Bureau (NAB) from arresting him during the investigation of LNG case. He stated that he was ready to join NAB investigation proceedings.
The petitioner had also attached the copies of NAB call-up notices and questionnaire with his bail petition. Secretary Ministry of Law and Justice, Chairman NAB and investigation officer had been nominated as respondents in the plea.—APP
