Mehfil-e-Milad held at NUML with religious zeal & fervour

Islamabad—A Mehfil-e-Milad was held here at National University of Modern Languages (NUML) by the Department of Urdu Language on Tuesday. Melodious voices of Naat Khawans made the jam-packed hall spell bound and the audience kept on showering accolades, admirations, and recited the holy verses to pay tribute to the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Students of departments of Urdu, English, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Chinese, and Management Sciences recited Naats. Speaking on the occasion, NUML DG Brig Riaz Ahmed Gondal said that the holy Mehfil (meeting) was organized to pay tribute to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He said,”As Muslims we must try to follow the lifestyle of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), we should adopt His pious life as a role model for us to succeed in this life and the life after it.”
