MCB retired employees demand increase in pensions

Islamabad—Retired employees of Muslim Commissioner Bank(MCB) have demanded increase in their pension which has been stopped since 22 years.
Talking to media, some retired employees of MCB said that they are receiving very minor sum of pension from the bank in this inflation era, adding that only Rs 219 monthly pensions are being paid to the former employees including their widows. They have sent many applications to concerned authority including Prime Minister, President and finance ministers of pervious governments to increase their pensions but they threw their petitions in dustbin.—Agencies
