Martyrs memorial to be built in Muzaffarabad: JKLF

Srinagar—Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) on Tuesday said that a martyrs’ memorial, named after Maqbool Bhat, would be built in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistan-administered Kashmir.
This was stated by JKLF Chairman Saleem Haroonn during a memorial meeting called for JKLF Ideologue Amanullah Khan who passed away last week.
“The meeting headed by JKLF vice chairman Muhammad Saleem Haroon was attended by many pro-freedom leaders including Khawja Saif Deen,Abid Shakoor Gilgati, Bashir Ahmad Lone, Jaffar Kashmiri, Bashsrat Noori, Munzoor khan, Parvez Mirza, Nazim Deen and others,” said a spokesman.
He said that candles were lit in memory of the “great deceased leader.” “Aman sahib was not only a leader but an ideologue, who strived for the liberation of his nation and never showed any signs of fatigue and never compromised on his principles,” said Haroon.—GK
