The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and Youth Affairs, Sports, Archeology & Tourism (YASAT)’s joint project, ‘Cheif Minister’s eRozgaar Program’is receiving extra ordinary response froom the young graduates. On daily basis the applicants are being advised and replied through emails.
March 5, 2017 is the last date for online applications from Graduate boys and girls of 35 years or below age. The selected candidates will be given three months training for freelance self-employment at 40 training centers by high profile trainers. Among these centers five centers are dedicated for female candidates. In the first phase 10,000 candidates are being trained in three different batches.
Recently Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) for Chief Minister’s e-Rozgaar training program with Eleven (11) selected Universities of Punjab Province were signed with the respective VCs by the Chairman PITB, Dr. Umar Saif, to establish training centers(Co-working space) in the respective universities premises.
Universities which signed MOUs include University of Engineering and Technology (UET) ,Taxila, Islamia University Bahawalpur Baghdad Campus, BahauddinZakariya University, KhawajaFarid University RYK, University of Agriculture Faisalabad – Official, University of Engineering & Technology- Chakwal, ComsatsWahCantt, UET, Lahore, University of Gujrat, Lahore College For Women University – Official and GCWUF – Govt College Women University, Faisalabad.
The Chief Minister’s e-Rozgaar Training Program Partners envision minimizing unemployment and providing young professionals with the necessary means to earn an honorable earning online by collaborating with institutions and organizations that share the same vision. e-Rozgaar Program aims to replicate its model of knowledge based recruitment which is credible globally.
