PUC seeks Islamic summit in Makkah to defy Houti tribes’ aggression; Muslim world’s youths ready to defend Harmain-Al-Sharifain

Lahore—Missile attack at Makkah is tantamount to attack 1.5b Muslim populace of the world and elements responsible for making attack at Makkah are real enemies of Muslims’ unity and brotherhood, said clerics and Ulema of 28 different political and religious schools of thought at ‘Harmain-e-Al-Sharifain Defence Conference’ held here Sunday under the auspices of Pakistan Ulema Council.
Representatives of 28 different religious and political organizations addressing the conference urged on government of Pakistan to designate a high level delegation for Saudi Arabia to announce Pakistan’s cooperation for Saudi Arabia for the cause of defence and security of Harmain-e-Al-Sharifain. The participants of the conference also announced with mutual consent to observe Friday, Nov 04, 2016 as Defence Day for Harmain-e-Al-Sharifain.
Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi presided the conference and a resolution was adopted with unanimous consultation of all the participatory leadership of different religious schools of thought and political organizations to denounce Houphi tribes’ missile attack at Makkah stating that Houthi tribes and their supporters were not targeting Yemen and Saudi Arabia but in reality are targeting holy places of Muslims.
The entire Muslim Ummah and Muslim countries are united with defence and security of Harmain-e-Al-Sharifain in the leadership of Saudi government. Muslim youths of the Islamic countries are ready to take any action for defense and security of Harmain-e-Al-Sharifain on the instructions of Saudi government.
The resolution adopted at the conference also demanded to call the meeting of Islamic Summit on priority basis in Makkah to devise an explicit stance on account of Islamic world to contain aggression of Houphi tribes against Harmain-e-Al-Sharifain.
Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi addressing the conference said that it is responsibility of government of Pakistan and security forces of Pakistan to take appropriate action for defense and security of Harmain-e-Al-Sharifain. He said that Makkah and Medina are centres of Muslim unity and brotherhood and elements responsible for making attack at Makkah are neither Muslims nor owns any affiliation with Islam. Houthi tribes have crossed all limits and now is the very time to devise mechanism to contain their growing aggression.
Secretary General Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Pakistan Maulana Sardar Muhammad Khan Leghari speaking at the conference said that Makkah and Medina are centres of Muslims’ loyalty and being Muslims and Pakistan, we want to assure government of Saudi Arabia and people of Saudi Arabia, we will not hesitate to take any action to ensure defense and security of Saudi Arabia and Harmain-e-Al-Sharifain. He also urged on government of Pakistan to announce explicit stance to cooperate with Saudi Government against aggression of Houphi tribes.
Allama Zubair Ahemd Zaheer of Movement for Defense of Harmain-e-Al-Sharifain speaking the conference said that entire Muslim world and specifically Pakistan is in a state of grief. He said that any further silence against aggression of Houthi tribes and their supporters will not be tolerated adding that Muslim leadership and government of Pakistan should demonstrate explicit strategy to contain aggression of Houthi tribes.
Secretary General Pakistan Ulema Council Sahibzada Zahid Mehmood Qasmi addressing the conference demanded of UNO to declare Houthi tribes as terrorists outfit stating that missile attack at Makkah is worst terrorism.
