Majority accept Fata merger in KP: Governor

Peshawar—Governor Khyber Pakthunkhwa, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra said Tuesday here that detailed meetings were held with different stakeholders of all tribal agencies on the directives of Prime Minister and analyzed their point of views/opinions as result of which majority have supported the merger of Fata in Khyber Pakthunkhwa.
He said repatriation of TDPs was successfully underway in tribal areas that would be completed by end of this year. He was talking to PML-N Fata delegation led by Faqir Muhammad that called on him here at Governor House Peshawar.
The delegation appraised the governor about their problems and presented suggestions for its solution. The Governor said the government was well aware of people’s problems and concrete measures are being taken for its solution. The Governor assured full cooperation for solution of all problems.—APP
