Majeed seeks world role to solve Kashmir dispute

Muzaffarabad—AJK Prime Minister Ch Abdul Majeed has urged the world political leadership to play a meaningful role for a just and durable solution of the Kashmir issue in the interest of peace in the region.
While talking to speaker Azad Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly Sardar Ghualam Sadiq and Minister for Information Sardar Abid Hussain Abid here on Wednesday the AJK Premier said that unresolved Kashmir issue was a permanent threat to regional security .He invited the international community to come forward and play a role in ending up this core issue of the region so it could make progress.
Meanwhile the Prime Minister has expressed serious concern over the continued illegal detention of Hurriyet leaders including Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Masarrat Aalam Butt and Nayeem Ahmad Khan.
The Premier said that India wanted to break the Hurriyet leaders’ determination for freedom through arrests, harassment and other nefarious tactics. However, the Hurriyet would continue the liberation struggle till complete freedom from tyrannical clutches of India.
Ch Majeed urged the political leadership of Pakistan and India to take meaningful steps for a just and durable solution of the Kashmir dispute in the interest of peace in South Asia.
