Mainly hot, dry weather forecast

Islamabad—Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country while rain-thunderstorm is likely at few places in Kashmir and its adjoining areas during next 24 hours. Weak seasonal low lies over north Balochistan and its adjoining areas.
A shallow trough of westerly wave is still affecting upper parts of the country, an official of Met office told APP. In last 24 hours weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. Rainfall recorded during this time span was: KP:Kakul 03, Balakot 01, Punjab: Murree , Mangla = Trace.
Maximum temperatures recorded on Sunday remained Shaheed Banazirabad, Dalbandin 41øC, Nokkundi 40øC and Sibbi 39øC, Hyderabad 37øC, Faisalabad 36øC, Multan, Lahore 35øC, Peshawar, Quetta 34øC, Karachi 33øC,Gilgit 30øC, Muzaffarabad, Chitral 32øC, Islamabad 31øC, Kalat 30øC Skardu, Dir 28øC Hunza 26øC and Murree 20øC.
Meanwhile, the Karachi Met. Office on Sunday forecast fair/partly cloudy weather for the city during the next 24 hours. A Met.—APP
