Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, however rain-thunderstorm is likely at isolated places of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir during the next 24 hours.
Rainfall is forecast in Makran, Malakand, Hazara divisions, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas. A westerly wave is affecting western parts of country and its adjoining areas, an official of met office, Muhammad Farooq told APP on Wednesday.
During last 24 hours weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Quetta, Zhob, Malakand divisions and FATA.
Rainfall recorded during this time span was Balochistan: Quetta (Sheikh Manda) 16mm, Khuzdar 6mm, Zhob 1mm, KP: Parachinar 5mm.—APP
