Mainly cold, dry weather to continue

Mainly cold and dry weather is likely to grip most parts of the country while shallow foggy conditions are likely over few plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning hours. Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country, an official of Met office told APP.
In last 24 hours weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country. Minimum temperatures recorded on Thursday remained Skardu -04°C, Kalam, Quetta -03, Gupis, Gilgit, Dir -02°C, Chitral -01°C, Murree 02°C, Peshawar, Muzaffarabad, Islamabad 05°C, Lahore, Faisalabad 08°C, Multan 10°C and Hyderbad Karachi 17°C.
The local Met Office has forecast a dry and cold weather for Bahawalpur region for next 24 hours. On Thursday, highest maximum temperature 29 Centigrade and lowest minimum temperature 15 Centigrade were recorded in the city. The Met Office has also forecast a dry weather for other parts of the region during next 24 hours.—APP
