LUMHS, BC sign MoU for collaborative activities

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences (LUMHS), Jamshoro and The British Council Pakistan on Monday at Karachi in the office of Pro Chancellor and the Minister Health Sindh, Dr. Sikandar Ali Mendhro.
The aim of the agreement is to collaborate for “British Council International English Language Testing System (IELTS) University Partnerships” as a part of a British Council administered project and to provide a framework within which collaborative activities will be undertaken and to online some initial actions.
While addressing the ceremony, the Vice Chancellor LUMHS Prof. Noshad A. Shaikh expressed that the University has a tradition of promoting education in the interior of Sindh and with implementation of this MoU the University will provide services of English Language Training along with the center for examination of IELTS at LUMHS Jamshoro, which will facilitate the desirous candidates from entire province.
Minister Health Dr. Sikandar Ali Mendhro expressed that the (IELTS) was the World’s most popular English proficiency Test for higher education.—APP
