LTC starts another service from Thokar to Raiwind

Lahore—Lahore Transport Company has inaugurated new air conditioned CNG bus service with collaboration of private transport operator Awais Travels from Thokar Niaz Baig to General Bus Stand Raiwand.
Initially 13 buses will be plied while the number of buses will be gradually increased after observing the ridership demand on the route. The minimum fare of this bus service shall be 20 rupees and maximum fare of the last stage will be charged from commuter is 45 rupees. This urban route contains on 21 stops that will be commenced from Thokar Niaz Baig via Lahore University, Al Raza abad, LDA Avenue one, Bhobattian Chowk, Adda Plot, Amin Pura, Ali Chowk, Markaz till GBS Raiwand.
The new bus service has inaugurated by Chairman Lahore Transport Company Mehr Ishtiaq , Member National Assembly Afzal Khokar and CEO LTC Khawaja Haider Latif at Thokar Niaz Baig, here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman LTC Mehr Ishtiaq has said that the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif is to provide safe, economical and quality transport facilities to the general public; this new bus service is being started on the vehement demand of public living around this area and number of people will be benefited from this service. CEO LTC Khawaja Haider Latif and MNA Afzal khokar congratulate the people for giving overwhelming response to this bus service.
